HEALTHCAREfirst and Mary St. Pierre, Former NAHC Vice President to Host Free Webinar on Home Health Conditions of Participation
Springfield, Mo. – February 17, 2015– HEALTHCAREfirst, the pioneer in Web-based software and services for home health and hospice care, announced today that it has partnered with Mary St. Pierre, RN, BSN, MGA, former Vice President of Regulatory Affairs for the National Association for Homecare and Hospice (NAHC), to host a free webinar detailing the proposed changes to the Home Health Conditions of Participation (CoP).
The webinar, “Home Health Conditions of Participation: What You Need to Know,” is designed for home health Administrators, Directors, Managers, Compliance Officers and others interested in possible home health regulatory changes. “Home health agencies should be aware of the planned changes to the current CoP. These changes could potentially require significant adjustments to current operations and agencies should know what they are dealing with,” said St. Pierre.
Proposed regulatory changes that will be discussed include:

- Expanded documentation requirements
- Revised professional responsibilities
- Data-driven, agency-wide quality assessment and performance improvement program
- Expanded patient care coordination requirements
