What a Difference Nurses Make.
This week is National Nurses Week and we would like to take a moment to thank all of the wonderful, caring home health and hospices nurses who provide quality care for patients in their homes each and every day.
The American Nurses Association (ANA) has chosen “Delivering Quality and Innovation in Patient Care” as the theme for 2013. HEALTHCAREfirst is proud to offer our advanced technologies and services to many home health and hospice agencies around the country, allowing their nurses to continue to provide superior care to their homebound patients.
If you are interested in recognizing a special nurse in your life, here are some easy ways to say “thank you”:
Write a note A simple, hand written thank you note is a great way to express your gratitude. Let them know what a difference they have made in their patients’ lives.
Donate to charity Make a donation to a charity in the nurse’s name. Perhaps there is a special cause that is near and dear to their heart.
Provide some relaxation Give a gift certificate for a pedicure or spa treatment – perfect for those nurses that are on their feet all day!
National Nurses Week is celebrated annually from May 6 through May 12, the birthday of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing.
