HEALTHCAREfirst's original product was designed to assist one of its founders, a Home Health Accountant, with agency financial accounting. As the CMS developed more and more requirements and a need developed for Home Care agencies to gather, track, and monitor their data, HEALTHCAREfirst began to market and offer this DOS based software application to other agencies that recognized the benefit of automation.

The natural evolution to a Windows based application introduced the next generation of HEALTHCAREfirst products. This Windows based application handled the new IPS and PPS regulations set forth by CMS and was widely used across the Country deployed with a traditional Client/Server model.

HEALTHCAREfirst was one of the first home care software vendors to recognize the industry's need for high quality software applications that are accessible over the World Wide Web. Today, our forward thinking has launched us to the forefront of Web Based software applications for the Home Care industry. Our applications are developed on the Microsoft .NET platform and are on the cutting edge of technology.
