HEALTHCAREfirst Announces Innovative Hospice Product Enhancements at NHPCO Conference
Ozark, Mo. – April 25, 2013 – HEALTHCAREfirst, the pioneer in Web-based software and services for home health and hospice care, announces this week enhancements to firstHOSPICE, the industry leading Web-based software for hospice agencies nationwide.
Attendees of the NHPCO Management and Leadership Conference are encouraged to visit booth #635 to view some of these exciting new features, including a newly developed Document Creator feature in firstHOSPICE.
Document Creator gives users the ability to create custom clinical forms, orders and bereavement documents. These can be added to patient charts, can include custom images and can be tracked and printed. Easily constructed, hospice agencies will have the ability to:
- Define agency specific documentation based on their own needs and processes
- Customize individual interventions and goals
- Create custom tracking items for multiple disciplines
- Create easy-to-use IPU documentation with drop downs, narratives and field boxes for defining what measurements/vitals are appropriate per visit.
“We are very excited about the release of these new enhancements. As part of our constant effort to help our hospice customers put patients before paperwork, we continue to provide the means to truly enable them to automate agency functions quickly and deliver strong value,” said Stan Bell, Vice President of Product Management. “The ability of our Document Creator to generate documents and forms specific to a hospice agency’s needs can improve efficiency and streamline processes, allowing the focus to remain on patient care.”
HEALTHCAREfirst’s hospice software, firstHOSPICE was designed from the ground up with input from both independent and hospital-based hospice professional across the country. As a complete Web-based agency management solution, hospice agencies can access and record vital patient information at patient bedsides and in the back office, delivering immediate results and streamlined operations. It is scalable to any size agency, with the strength and sophistication to meet the needs of even the largest multi-state networks.
