J. Kevin Porter, President and Chief Executive Officer
J. Kevin Porter is a dedicated leader with extensive experience in business strategy and financial management. Kevin joined Deyta in 2001 as CFO to oversee all financial and operational systems, and was later appointed President & CEO in 2006. Through Kevin’s leadership and vision, Deyta experienced accelerated growth, established itself as an industry leader, and was successfully acquired by HEALTHCAREfirst in 2015. Following the acquisition, Kevin transitioned to CFO of HEALTHCAREfirst and in November 2016, was appointed President & CEO.
Steve Sablan, Chief Information Officer
Steve Sablan is responsible for leading development efforts across the company to include technical design, engineering, quality assurance, and release management. He brings more than 20 years of healthcare information technology experience in both acute and post-acute settings. Prior to acquisition by HEALTHCAREfirst, Steve provided leadership in development, security, compliance, and operations for Deyta.
Brad Caldwell, Executive Vice President of Sales
Brad Caldwell is responsible for developing plans and strategies for business growth while managing a national team of sales executives. He brings to HEALTHCAREfirst a deep background in home care technology, with more than 20 years of experience in consultative selling, business development, and strategic marketing. Prior to joining HEALTHCAREfirst, he was instrumental in the early development of the home health telehealth industry and has been an Executive Vice President of Sales for a worldwide post-acute software company. Additionally, Brad is on the Board of Directors for the Home Care Association of Florida and Connected Healthcare Solutions.
Mikel Robertson, Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management
Mikel joined HEALTHCAREfirst in 1999 and currently leads the revenue cycle management operations, including billing and coding services. His personal career has grown right alongside HEALTHCAREfirst over the years, assisting in the development of nearly every department within the company before establishing himself as Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management. Mikel most recently served as Vice President of Human Resources, a department which he built from the ground up.
Misty Skinner, Senior Vice President of Client Services
As Senior Vice President of Client Services for HEALTHCAREfirst, Misty oversees all client facing departments, including implementation, training, client success management, and customer support. Misty joined HEALTHCAREfirst in 2010 as the Director of Client Services. She has extensive experience as a customer service professional serving both healthcare and financial services companies. Prior to joining HEALTHCAREfirst, Misty was Vice President of DataLink, a compliance software tool for the financial industry. Misty brings her proven experience of creating a world class customer experience to HEALTHCAREfirst.
Patrick Logan, Vice President of Research & Development
Patrick joined HEALTHCAREfirst in 2003, spending the first decade leading the development of our Enterprise Platform and building our Research & Development team. More recently, he has turned his attention to data mining, analytics, architecture, and mentoring efforts. He has worked for leading financial and healthcare software companies such as Jack Henry & Associates and McKesson Corporation and has over 20 years’ experience in home health software development. He has been developing with Microsoft’s development stack and operating systems since their inception, and has held Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD) certification for over 16 years.
Amy Anderson, Vice President of Products
Amy Anderson oversees product development, including outlining our product roadmap, business analysis, development, and quality assurance. She brings more than 20 years of experience in home health and hospice, with 16 of those in software development. Capitalizing on her extensive experience, Amy directs product management efforts to ensure that our customers have the tools that they need to focus on patient care and successfully manage their businesses. Prior to her current role, Amy was Director of Product Development for HEALTHCAREfirst.
