Deyta unveiled the 2014 Hospice Honors list and celebrated with recipients at the NHPCO’s Management and Leadership Conference Welcome Reception, March 27, 2014
(Louisville, KY) April 1, 2014 – HEALTHCAREfirst‘s Deyta LLC, an industry leader in data-driven management, is excited to announce recipients of the 2014 Hospice Honors, a prestigious program established by Deyta that recognizes hospice agencies providing the best patient care as rated by the patient’s caregiver. The official list of recipients was unveiled last night at the Welcome Reception of National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization’s Management and Leadership Conference in National Harbor, MD.
“We are thrilled to present Hospice Honors for the second year in a row. We are honored to serve such a dedicated industry, and we look forward to recognizing top performers each year for their hard work and dedication,” said Kevin Porter, President and CEO of Deyta.
This prestigious annual honor is determined by using the Deyta Family Evaluation of Hospice Care (Deyta FEHC) survey results from more than 1,700 partnering hospice agencies contained in Deyta’s FEHC database with an evaluation period of October 2012 through September 2013. Deyta identified Hospice Honors recipients by evaluating hospices’ performance on a set of eighteen satisfaction indicator measures. The set of questions included only indicator measures, omitting qualifying, leader and demographic questions. Individual hospice performance scores were aggregated for the evaluation period and were compared on a question-by-question basis to a national average score calculated from Deyta’s FEHC database.
“This year there is an additional distinction among recipients. We now have a Hospice Honors Elite recognition. These hospices are the top performing hospices among the Hospice Honors program,” said Kevin Porter.
